Each year we co-ordinate a Christmas present collection for children from disadvantaged areas in North Edinburgh. We provide this service in partnership with the incredible Spartans Community Football Academy, a social enterprise that delivers positive social impact and change through the power of people and sport. This year the need will be felt massively, as the impact of COVID continues in conjunction with a significant spike in food and fuel prices combined with the drop in Universal Credit. Many families just do not have surplus cash for their children’s Christmas presents.
Amplifi Talent has a list of children from the ages of 3 to 11 who are at risk of waking up to no presents on Christmas morning. This list will continue to grow as the weeks before Christmas draw in – we are asking our business community, once again, to help and support Spartans with this present collection.
