With a direct reporting line to the CFO, the Finance Manager role will primarily support the growth of the company, improving the current finance systems, controls and procedures. The Finance Manager will be responsible for delivering accurate month end, quarter end and year end reporting. A key focus will be on providing the management team with detailed financial KPIs to allow quick decision making and continuous improvement.
As a key member of a small team, the candidate will have a detail-oriented mindset and a passion for accuracy who can spot areas of opportunity to drive performance and profitability whilst mitigating financial risks to the business. The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and a hands-on approach and comfortable working in a small team.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of the finance function and will be responsible for the delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for the business, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures and be a direct support to the CFO.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Management Accounts and Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cash flow management and forecasts
- Preparation of annual accounts
- Payroll and Payments processing
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT Returns and all HMRC correspondence
- Budget vs Actual reconciliations
- Preparation of Budgets and Forecast
- Preparation of Board packs
- Ad hoc reporting required for management and investors
- Processing purchase invoices and payments
- Managing Receivables and Payables team
