CWC Group are now keen to recruit a high calibre CFO to help drive continued growth and expansion, working closely with the CEO and wider Leadership Team.
This is a high-profile position in a fast-paced, multi-site SME, and therefore requires a senior finance professional who can clearly evidence first-class strategic, commercial, and operational delivery in a similar business environment.
CWC have set ambitious growth plans in place, which requires a finance function that is fit for now and the future. The incoming CFO will be tasked with further improving financial management and reporting, providing detailed data analysis and management information, leading and developing people, and acting as a true business partner to key stakeholders and the leadership team.
An excellent work-ethic, a transformational leadership approach, and the confidence and commercial acumen to appropriately contribute to and challenge decision making at Board level, will be critical attributes and essential to success.
- Operating at leadership level, working closely with management to drive the company’s financial, commercial, and operational performance.
- Overseeing all financial aspects of CWC’s strategy, establishing effective mechanisms to ensure the flow of financial information to the board and relevant external parties.
- Working and managing relationships with external funders, debt providers and wider stakeholders to support the growth plans. Strong cash / working capital management.
- Production of a monthly board pack, including the preparation and presentation of financial information, value-added commentary, KPI reporting and analysis to help drive the growth and performance of the business.
- Establishing a highly effective finance function and team with full ownership of cashflow & working capital management, budgeting & forecasting, P&L and balance sheet management, and management & financial reporting.
- Strong financial planning / project finance management required for new facility costing, ROI analysis, and cost management.
- Strong FP&A / Excel skills – leading on production of budgets/forecasts at Group, site and project level.
- Ensure that company’s systems are is fully maximised to support the firms current and future business requirements.
- Further develop positive working relationships with external parties including suppliers, bankers, investors, and advisors.
- Ensure that robust financial controls, compliance, and risk management frameworks are in place.
- Working within a regulatory environment (RQIA, tax laws, billing compliance) in addition to compliance of financial requirements (GAAP / IFRS). Experience in leading the audit process.
